Sigma Cut-Resistant Gloves (HPPE):
Sigma cut-resistant safety gloves are genuine cut-resistant gloves with a cut resistance level higher than Level 5, among the best available in the Iranian market. They are suitable for working with glass, sheet metal, knives, and similar sharp objects.
HPPE is a subset of thermoplastic polyethylene with extremely long, high-molecular-weight chains, resulting in a very tough material with the highest impact strength of any current thermoplastic. These materials have a strength-to-weight ratio 8 times greater than high-strength steels.
The use of UHMWPE fibers is not recommended for prolonged periods at temperatures above 80–100 °C. At temperatures below −150 °C, the material becomes brittle.
